Shopping Time

Hi guys, to those who care sorry for the late update , been busy doing nothing and other unproductive stuffs.. anyway on the last friday and saturday i happen to be in KL to send my friend's sister , and most of the fashion house are having sales of course i woudlt want to miss my chance :D therefore i went to KLCC and Pavillion ! to get the stuffs that i ve longing for so long... an italian sports coat/casual jacket , well the one i really like from Giorgio Armani with logo is sold out (well not like it comes with my size anyway) ... so i went to check out to Giorgio Armani.. there was only 1 jacket that interest me and it was shimmery (shimerry is always good because it looks expensive) , but it cost around RM9k ... well the catch is not the price its the friggin size... the smallest size was 46 and i can only fit on 42 or 44 (maybe) , disappointed with Giorgio Armani I went to Prada Pavilion and there was a very nice fashion jacket cost RM8k and again at size 46... what a shame thought the fashion jacket was a runaway item for Prada Spring Summer

thing is about jacket/suit , the quality of material and tailoring are important but most importantly is the fitting , that makes all the differences , having a too big of jacket or suit would make you look damn awkward.. and no way i would want to get a bigger size and alter since the suits/jackets are tailored in italy by respective tailor from Prada and Giorgio Armani...

disappointed with Malaysian boutiques i gave up on getting a casual jacket here in Malaysia, most likely i would have to get one oversea (Singapore maybe) anyway to cure my disappointment also since i already withdrew a quite amount of cash i woudlt want to hold them so i just went to blow all of them on tod's limited edition country club gominnos (yes this is essential as i left all my designers shoes in JB , so i dont have any designer shoes with me here), Gucci t-shirt (yes finally the infamous super tacky Gucci T-shirt finally got my hand on it), and also Burberry Jacket and Burberry checked Polo T-shirt for my friend

Oh yea while i was in Gucci i failed to find the loafer that i saw a month ago , too bad it was a really nice shoe cost around 2.2k but it wasnt there anymore .. and that wasnt the most disheartening momment... the most disheartening moment in Gucci was to see the Cobalt Print shirt i bought a months ago with 50% sales only at MYR700+ , which i bought at MYR1590

stay tune..my shopping spree doesnt end here ! i still have some stuffs to buy in Emporio Armani and Louis Vuitton in KLCC tommorow ... will update tommorow night with pictures of my purchases and update on new stuffs

bleh it was a shame tho while i was in LV Starhill they didt have the Monte Carlo Loafer in Patent Leather , they only had this pimping Monte Carlo Mocassins in Crocodile Leather cost at frigging MYR9k.... only on Saturday after i had bought the Tod's loafer the day before i saw Monte Carlo Loafer in LV Starhill for MYR2700 arghhh too bad i am on limited budget cant buy another shoe for the same purpose.. hopefully it will be around next time when i grew tired of my Tod's moccasins

will be back in KL next week to collect my Emporio Armani stuffs =) as their sales will only start on 2nd july but i already picked up all the stuffs so she help to keep them for me hehe

Megasale

Malaysia Megasale is here , with all big names such as Burberry, Tods and Gucci are having sales too and soon more other brands will join in .

Gucci sales started on 31st May i received call from Gucci Pavilion to inform me of the sales few days before! too bad I wasnt around KL and wont be until sometimes ... therefore i had missed the chance to be one of the early bird to get good bargain from Gucci :(

things about sale that you should know that, sales normally only applies to "out of season stuffs" thus new collections will not have sales even during sales period.. normally the longer the store unable to clear the stock , the sales will gradually increase like 30% to 50% to 70% (can go higher near end of sale)

this applies to most brand where sales are only for seasonal items and no sales for classic items

for some brand such as Hermes and Louis Vuitton they never have sales (but Hermes do have sales on their ready to wear if i am not mistaken)

as for Burberry they have no sales on men's accessories

as for Prada i am not really sure as i dont shop there often..

from what i notice in Gucci the stuffs with blatant ,obvious logo normally the one the finishes first during 30% sale or sometimes even before sales, so if you saw something you like which is discreet in logo chances are that the clothes wont be sold out until higher discount...

meanwhile in Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani i normally just wait till 30%-50% sale before i buys because the good stuffs are still there even during sales (this brand is indeed underrated in Malaysia)


anyway too bad i didn't get to buy anything for this megasale as i am not around KL .. i guess ill have to wait until end of the year sales.. oh well

Since i havent grab anything yet for this year's sale, for your viewing pleasure i will post about something i had bought earlier this year

these are ready to wear that i purchased from Gucci this year (cant recall when there are more but i will post that in my later or future post) and they kinda look like these but if u notice they are slightly from mine where mine is with collar and the one the model is wearing is v-neck.




This Gucci pants was featured in Folio Men (forgot which issue) which my brother in law said looks like his University's chef's pants LOL. ill try to get the closeup picture from website and folio men pictures if i able to find them in my condo. From the website this pants is part of a suit just like the model is wearing too bad Pavilion Gucci didt have them (not like i have the money to buy the freaking coat (Gucci coats starts at around MYR6k+)
