Finally Comme Des Garcons Play has returned to Malaysia, This time with more stuffs to choose from compared to when M Men carried them. However they did not come from a stand alone boutique as first announced (I am not sure if they are going to be sold in a separate store in the future) but at the moment you can get them at the newly opened Club21 Store in Pavilion. It is a multibrand store that carries variety of high fashion brands such as Tussardi,Lanvin,Comme Des Garcons (full line), CDG play (difussion line), Alexander Wang,Alexander McQueen (McqQ by Alexander McQueen in Starhills Shopping Gallery is a diffusion line) and many more. Great news for fashion and style conscious Malaysians now that we will have more choices for funky high fashion stuffs , previously we had Aseana, Hit Gallery, M Boutique and Leo for funky multi label stuffs now with Club21 entering the market hopefully more fashionable and stylish items will be reachable to our shore.
So what are the differences between these multi label stores?
Aseana carries only women stuffs including local designers stuffs.
M Store carries contemporary designers,local designers and high street fashion diffusion brands.
Hit Gallery carries funky high street fashion diffusion brands.
Leo carries only men stuffs including main lines however their stuffs are only limited to accessories such as belts and shoes, no menswear.
Club21 Store will be the combination of all these stores with main lines from accessories to menswear both for men and women.
(If only Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani move to Pavilion , I can say goodbye to KLCC as there is absolutely no reason for me to visit KLCC anymore)
Back to the long awaited Comme Des Garcons
(this picture is not from the new store its taken online from CDG Pocket) and the best part is Club21 even carry Chuck Taylor and Jack Purcell CDG play sneakers.
They also have this shirt worn by Jung Ryeo Won in Salaryman Cho Han ji but unfortunately I didt like the fit because it was regular fit. (priced around MYR900)
Polo-tees worn by Edison Chen! I bought myself the black one for around MYR700 (Made in Japan) , kinda regretful that i did not buy the the grey one though.

By the way from my observation the easiest way to spot a fake CDG Play Polo-tee is by looking at the numbers of buttons. CDG Play Polo-tees only has 2 buttons, a poorly made fake one will have 3.
They have many type of t-shirts and various colors to choose from, they even have the one worn by Kanye West, CDG Play T-shirts price ranges from MYR400 to 500
This t-shirt I bought from M Men for MYR420+ Made in Japan, they have it also.

Finally I have a converse, Chuck Taylor CDG Play edition. Goes for MYR490 Made in Vietnam.

This is me having dinner at Ginza Cafe place that I just discovered at Tokyo Street, Pavilion. I love their almond roasted chocolate .. I guess i will never drink anywhere else in Pavilion after this!
